Youiee 1.32 for iOS: she can reach you now — and only you can reach her

Youiee 1.32 for iOS — a phone showing a private, locked message from Youiee.

For a long time, Youiee couldn't send you notifications. Not because it was hard to build — because it was hard to build right. Most apps notify you to serve themselves: a nudge because your attention lapsed, a ping because a metric dipped. We didn't want Youiee's voice showing up in your day for our reasons. Only for yours.

So we waited until two things were true. First, that Youiee could actually tell when reaching out would help you — not just when it would bring you back. Second, that whatever she sent could stay completely private. In 1.32, both are true, and that's why these two features ship together.

🔔 Notifications that respect your time — and your reasons

There are two ways to hear from Youiee, and you choose.

Smart mode. Youiee decides when a moment matters. She might follow up on something you told her you were dreading. She might offer an affirmation on a morning she senses you could use one. She might surface an insight she's been sitting with. It's all driven by context and memory — by your conversations, not by an engagement calendar.

Manual mode. You decide, explicitly. Choose what you want to hear about and what you don't, and set a maximum cadence — every other day, once a week, or a couple of times a month. Youiee will never exceed it.

Either way, the principle is the same: your time and your space are yours. Youiee knocks; she doesn't barge in.

🔒 Lock Youiee

What you share with Youiee might be the most personal thing on your phone. Now you can put a door on it.

Turn on Lock Youiee and the app opens only for you — with Face ID, a PIN, or both. You don't have to use Face ID if you'd rather not. Choose when the lock engages: immediately, or after 5, 10, or 15 minutes away. Underneath, your conversations get field-level encryption on the device itself, so your words are sealed even at rest.

And here's where the two features meet. When Youiee is locked, a notification will only ever say: you have a new message from Youiee. What Youiee actually said stays behind your lock. Your phone can be face-up on the table in a meeting room, and what's between you and her stays between you and her.

That's the whole idea of this release: reach and privacy, shipped as one thing. We don't believe you should have to trade one for the other.

🎨 And a little polish

We also spent time making Youiee feel more like one material on iOS 26 — consistent glass controls throughout, better touch targets, and small comforts like tapping the chat to dismiss the keyboard.
